A newer system of trails now connect Burr Pond State Park with Sunnyvale State Park. Remember Burr Pond was a camping park until it closed of recent years. This was one of my favorite camping parks. Full Service like electricity in rest rooms and hot showers. O..somwhat closer to some semi-urban areas the occassional population ? Maybe much partying at times. I never met anything serious but when the system west alcohol free they were scared to enforce it. Probably the wrong word but ---- If very rural and few campers ? Soooo..too much work so just close it and take early retirement !! I must note many states went ALCOHOL FREE but soon realized it was un-enforcable (this is a fact) as almost 100% enjoy a cold drink in summers out in nowhere !!! Often some laws are there so if enforcement is necessary the law is there !! Otherwise ignored.. Not Connectict !! Close the parks !! This page will be updated upcoming.
