Pootatuck Trail
I remember the Pootatuck Trail. I'd bet nobody else does. My memory was when I was just a 'little kid". I recall the blue marks on the trees in various locations. I can remember them persisting long after abandonment in some places such as Putnam Memorial State Park.
I'd guess the area just got too urban. Even in early days one can note the trail following a road to Bridgeport, Connecticut. By the map it seemed to have it's start around old 90 Acres Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut. That Park is now re-named Veterans Park and abandoned. (it still exists)
